About this Wiki

The ICPM Wiki allows users to freely create and edit content using any Web browser. Our Wiki supports hyperlinks and has a simple text syntax for creating new pages and cross-links between internal pages on the fly. Wiki’s allow our members to create and edit pages within the Wiki itself, and it encourages democratic use of this Global PM Community site.

Wiki Goal

The goal of this Wiki is to become on of the Internets largest and most widely used Project Management Specific Wiki.


Feed the Wiki

As a stakeholder in developing this Wiki we value your opinion and your expertise in the industry of project management. TenStep Inc has already donated their SupportStep Methodology to this effort. Contributions may come in several different forms:

  • Moderation. Help us create (and enforce) the Wiki rules
  • Categorization. Help us determine how to best build the table of contents and how to best categorize materials
  • Given the size of we intend for this Wiki, this needs significant thought
  • Help develop the “Help” page. Wiki syntax can be difficult to understand, so posting tips and shortcuts will be extremely helpful
  • Insert your theories, explanations and definitions to existing topics
  • Create new topics
  • Search any existing content and add clarifications or expand on exiting content
  • Talk about content, modifications or changes. (See the talk link in Recent Changes section)
  • Build the glossary of common PM Terms
  • Credits Page. Make sure your name and contact info is added to the Credits page.


Getting Started

  • Visit www.theicpm.com and register if you’re not already a member
    • Registration and membership are Free to the public
  • Click on ICPM Wiki
  • Set up your preferences (see link to the left)
  • Review the Wiki How To and User Guide (see links to the left)
  • Review the Table of Contents. You can freely add new pages, titles and categories
  • This Wiki is meant to contain both factual and theoretical information as it relates to Project Management. Add you expertise to any topic
  • Reference your sources (see Help link to the left for details on how to properly cite.)
